Designing a Community-Driven Platform for Reporting and Managing Waste

CleanUp is a mobile platform designed to help communities report waste, track cleanup efforts, and improve local environmental conditions. The project focused on understanding how individuals and communities can easily report garbage issues, coordinate cleanup activities, and create awareness around environmental responsibility.

Through user research, interviews, and persona development, key insights were gathered about user motivations, reporting behaviors, and barriers to participation. Based on these findings, the platform was designed to provide a simple reporting flow, clear prioritization of issues, and an intuitive interface that encourages users to actively participate in keeping their surroundings clean.
